A bit about us:Growing renewable energy and construction-related organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations across a complex multi-entity structure. This is a highly visible role working closely with executive leadership, operations, and project teams to support continued company growth and financial performance.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of corporate accounting, project/job cost accounting, and process improvement experience within construction, real estate, infrastructure, or related project-based industries.

Job DetailsKey Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounting operations across a large multi-entity structure
- Manage project/job cost accounting including WIP schedules, revenue recognition, budgets, and margin analysis
- Oversee construction draws, progress billings, retainage, and compliance documentation
- Supervise accounts payable processes including vendor onboarding, invoice workflows, and payment controls
- Prepare consolidated financial reporting and intercompany reconciliations
- Support treasury functions including cash forecasting, banking activity, and intercompany funding
- Coordinate audit support and assist with tax/compliance reporting
- Help develop and improve accounting SOPs, controls, and operational efficiencies
- Supervise and mentor a small accounting team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior experience within construction, renewable energy, real estate, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based industries strongly preferred
- Experience with job cost accounting, WIP schedules, and multi-entity accounting environments
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with AP oversight, cash management, and intercompany accounting
- ERP/accounting systems experience required
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
