Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior React/Python Developer to join a Global Trading team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both front-end and back-end development, building scalable web applications and data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using React and Python.
- Build and support ETL workflows and data pipelines.
- Work with Databricks, SQL, and Snowflake for data processing and analytics.
- Develop REST APIs and integrate backend services.
- Collaborate with traders, analysts, product owners, and business teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Follow CI/CD best practices using Git and automation tools.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with Python (Pandas, ETL).
- Advanced experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Strong SQL and database experience (PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
- Experience with Azure (AWS/GCP is a plus).
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Knowledge of data modeling and performance tuning.
- Experience building scalable data pipelines.
- Commodity Trading or Financial Services experience is a plus.
