Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer III with experience in supporting mission-critical applications. The role involves building solutions that enhance automation, stability, and release processes across multiple systems. You will collaborate with engineering teams to identify and address common issues, drive solutions, and improve overall release quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of software development, from requirements through implementation, testing, and operations.
- Build a self-service platform to empower developers to deploy high-quality software reliably and at scale.
- Develop a unified platform that provides a comprehensive view for evaluating releases across acceptance, performance, and security dimensions.
- Reduce manual intervention and accelerate the approval process.
- Provide end-to-end traceability for software releases.
- Work with engineering teams to identify and address common issues and improve release reliability.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 3+ years of non-internship experience in the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 3+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related occupation.
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
- 2+ years of non-internship professional experience in front-end, web, or mobile software development.
- 3+ years of experience leading the development of applications backed by AWS services or other cloud-based technologies.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
