IT Finance Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's large retail client in Dublin, CA is looking for an IT Finance Manager for a hybrid role - 3 days a week onsite.

Summary:
We are seeking a highly visible IT Finance Manager to lead capital reporting, forecasting, financial planning, and executive-facing analysis within a large, complex organization. This role will partner closely with senior leadership, project managers, and corporate finance teams while overseeing the work of two financial analysts. Upon conversion, the individual will assume formal people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities
* Oversee capital reporting and financial performance across multiple portfolios, including operations, distribution, corporate functions, marketing, and technology initiatives
* Consolidate and review forecasts, budgets, and financial submissions from analysts and business partners
* Prepare executive-level financial reporting and presentations for senior leadership
* Partner with project and program managers to provide financial guidance, forecasting support, and strategic analysis
* Develop financial models and business cases to support investment decisions and ad hoc executive requests
* Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while ensuring reporting accuracy and timeliness
* Coach and develop financial analysts, with formal people management responsibilities upon conversion

REQUIREMENTS:
* Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including building models from limited or ambiguous information
* Proven experience presenting financial insights to executive leadership
* Formal people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and employee development
* Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders
* Strong executive presence, communication skills, and attention to detail

Strong FP&A background with expertise in:
* Month-end close
* Forecasting
* Budgeting
* Financial reporting
* Variance analysis
* Long-range planning

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with capital planning, capital reporting, or large investment portfolios
* Exposure to IT Finance, technology organizations, or project-based environments
* Experience supporting large, complex organizations with multiple stakeholders
* Background preparing financial analysis and reporting for C-suite leaders
* Retail or multi-location business experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
