  • Validate workflows involving middleware, databases, backend systems, and application layers.

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Scrum Masters within a cross-functional Agile team.

  • Independently investigate testing requirements, develop solutions, and communicate technical approaches and results clearly.

  • Contribute to the continued expansion and improvement of test automation capabilities.

  • Quickly learn and adapt to new automation frameworks, technologies, and development practices.

  • Support AI-assisted software development and testing practices as applicable.

Minimum Experience:

  • Hands-on Java experience sufficient to read, understand, modify, and work within existing automation code.

  • Experience with API, integration, middleware, or backend testing.

  • Experience with code-based test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar tools.

  • Experience working with structured, multi-tier applications rather than exclusively browser or UI-based applications.

  • Ability to work independently and develop practical testing solutions.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain technical work and decisions.

  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.

  • Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone and comfortable with an approximately 8:00 AM ET start.
