Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Mainframe DevOps Engineer to lead the conversion of Endevor processors and CA7 schedules into YAML-based CI/CD pipelines and Groovy automation scripts. The role involves modernizing mainframe build, deployment, and scheduling processes using DevOps tools and Git-based workflows.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze and convert Endevor processors into YAML CI/CD pipelines.

* Convert CA7 job schedules, dependencies, and calendars into YAML/Groovy workflows.

* Develop and maintain YAML pipelines and Groovy shared libraries.

* Implement CI/CD solutions for COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and IMS applications.

* Integrate Git, Jenkins/GitLab/Azure DevOps with mainframe environments.

* Support testing, deployment automation, and migration activities.

Required Skills

* Strong experience with YAML scripting (mandatory).

* Strong Groovy scripting and Jenkins Pipeline development.

* Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS.

* Expertise in Endevor and CA7.

* Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

* Knowledge of IBM DBB, UrbanCode Deploy, or Wazi Deploy is a plus.

Experience

* 10+ years of Mainframe experience.

* 3+ years of DevOps/CI-CD implementation.

* Proven experience in Endevor-to-YAML and CA7-to-YAML/Groovy conversion projects.

* Ability to lead migration assessments, solution design, and implementation activities.
