Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry Data Engineer with strong expertise in Palantir Foundry, data modeling, data governance, and enterprise data engineering. The ideal candidate will have approximately 7+ years of hands-on Palantir experience and a strong understanding of data platforms supporting electric and gas utility operations.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and governing data within the Palantir Foundry platform. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data architects, analysts, and engineering teams to develop scalable and trusted data products for utility operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines and data products using Palantir Foundry.
  • Develop and maintain data integration workflows across multiple enterprise data sources.
  • Perform data modeling for structured and semi-structured utility data.
  • Design logical and physical data models supporting business and operational requirements.
  • Build and maintain datasets, transformations, pipelines, and workflows within Palantir Foundry.
  • Implement data quality, validation, lineage, and monitoring processes.
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards within Foundry.
  • Implement data access controls, permissions, security policies, and governance practices.
  • Develop reusable and trusted datasets for analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Support data discovery, cataloging, lineage, metadata management, and data classification.
  • Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, data quality issues, and integration problems.
  • Optimize Foundry pipelines and transformations for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data architects and engineering teams to establish enterprise data standards.
  • Support integration of data from various utility systems and enterprise applications.
  • Develop data solutions supporting electric and gas utility business processes.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement of Foundry data products.
