Guidewire Digital Developer (JDP/Jutro)

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Digital Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire Jutro Digital Platform (JDP) and modern front-end technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building and supporting Guidewire Digital applications integrated with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter. This role involves developing new features, resolving production issues, enhancing digital customer experiences, and collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire Digital (Jutro/JDP) applications using modern front-end technologies.
• Build responsive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces using Next.js, React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Integrate Guidewire Digital applications with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter using Guidewire REST APIs and standard integration patterns.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs while implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions.
• Participate in application enhancements, defect fixes, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and backend developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
• Support performance tuning, application monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Guidewire Digital / Guidewire Jutro Digital Platform (JDP).
• Hands-on experience with Next.js, React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience integrating Guidewire Digital with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.
• Strong understanding of Guidewire REST APIs, integration patterns, and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Guidewire Developer Certification (Digital/Jutro or InsuranceSuite) is mandatory.
