Location: Dallas, TX & East Brunswick, NJ

Role/Responsibilities
- We are seeking an accomplished Data & AI Principal to provide strategic leadership across complex customer engagements and enterprise Data & AI initiatives. In this role, you will be the primary client interface, overseeing significant Data & AI projects, and cultivating long-term partnerships focused on transformative, data-driven business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Strategic Data & AI Engagements: Serve as the principal client liaison, managing end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects exceeding $10M in budget.
Client Advisory:
- Engage directly with clients to develop Data & AI strategy and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Solution Leadership:
- Take ownership of crafting solutions and implementation strategies that align with customers business objectives and Data Analytics & AI roadmaps, ensuring solutions are both relevant and impactful to their transformation journey.
Sales Pipeline Growth:
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline for Data & AI services, proactively identifying and creating opportunities that contribute to both client success and the expansion of strategic accounts.
Practice Building Initiatives:
- Spearhead initiatives such as generating impactful customer references, and public reference able success stories help elevate positioning of HCLTech with customers and partners.
- Play a pivotal role in practice-building activities with an expectation of partial billability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration to drive results:
- Work closely with internal teams and strategic partners to deliver innovative and integrated Data & AI solutions, reinforcing the organization s market leadership.
Reporting & Insights:
- Deliver clear progress reports, performance insights, and strategic recommendations for both clients and executive leadership, highlighting impact against core KPIs.
- Principal KPIs for the Role- Revenue influenced ($)- Strategic deal win rate (%)- Account growth rate (%) across Data & AI portfolios- Margin uplift in strategic deals (%)- Number of practice-building initiatives contributed
Required Qualifications Education:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in Data & AI, with proven success in client engagement and account leadership.
Technical & Functional Expertise AI Platform Architecture:
- Deep knowledge of AI platform architectures and data architectures for enterprise applications.
Advisory in Emerging Technologies:
Demonstrated expertise in advising on emerging Data & AI technologies and best practices.
Cloud & ML Platforms:
- Proficiency with platforms such as Azure, Google Vertex, AWS, and experience with various AI & ML use cases.
Data Governance:
- Strong skills in data quality, profiling, cataloging, and metadata management.
Lead Generation & RFP Response:
- Successful track record in lead generation, managing RFPs, and crafting compelling solution responses.
- Commercial Management: Experience preparing SoWs, MSAs, SLOs, and managing P&L for strategic accounts.
- Core Competencies Leadership: Effective leadership skills, with a focus on building and motivating high-performing teams.
Communication:
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities for diverse audiences.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on measurable outcomes.
Stakeholder Management:
- Proven ability to engage and influence global stakeholders.
Adaptability:
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
