SAP FICO Production Support
Duration: 18-Month Contract

Overview
TEKsystems is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Production Support Consultant to provide functional support for its SAP S/4HANA financial environment. This consultant will serve as a key resource responsible for maintaining system stability, troubleshooting production issues, supporting financial business processes, and partnering with technical teams to ensure the efficient operation of the County\'s critical financial systems.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, strong production support experience, and a proven track record supporting complex financial processes in large enterprise or public-sector environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide functional production support for SAP S/4HANA Finance applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues through root-cause analysis and incident management.
Support and optimize business processes across:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Management (AM)
Controlling (CO)
Funds Management (FM)
Cash Management (CM)
Grants Management (GM)
Collaborate with SAP technical teams, Basis administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to resolve system issues.
Support system enhancements, upgrades, interfaces, testing activities, and production releases.
Analyze business requirements and recommend process improvements within SAP.
Create and maintain functional documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Provide end-user support, issue resolution, and user training.
Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and assist with user adoption efforts.
Follow County change management, security, and production support procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of SAP FICO experience.
3+ years of SAP S/4HANA production support experience.
Strong hands-on expertise in:
GL
AP
AR
AM
CO
FM
CM
GM
Experience troubleshooting and resolving production support incidents.
Strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes.
Experience supporting SAP upgrades, enhancements, and releases.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting SAP in a government or public-sector environment.
Experience working within large, complex enterprise SAP ecosystems.
Knowledge of SAP integrations and interface troubleshooting.
SAP S/4HANA Finance certification preferred.
Experience creating end-user training materials and conducting workshops.

Ideal Candidate: 7-10+ years of SAP FICO experience with at least 3-5 years supporting SAP S/4HANA in a production support environment.
