Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled GovSlack Administrator to support the CloudOne program. The role manages, configures, and maintains the organization's GovSlack instance. • Manage detailed user access, privileges, and permissions at scale through Slack's enterprise administration dashboard.
  • Put in place and enforce data loss prevention (DLP), eDiscovery protocols, legal holds, and data retention policies, working with the legal and IT teams.
  • Oversee Slack Connect so that authorized external government contractors and agencies can communicate and share files securely.
  • Design channel structures and manage workspace lifecycle settings.
  • Tune mobile device management (MDM) endpoint policies.
  • Build workflows that improve team productivity.
  • Perform system backups, audits, and re-indexes, and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support Atlassian installations, upgrades, migrations, and environment consolidations, including integrations with AWS.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience administering Slack at the enterprise level
  • Minimum 1 year directly managing GovSlack or another government cloud platform (e.g., Salesforce Government Cloud, Box for Government)
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Experience designing custom dashboards, filters, and JQL queries
  • Experience performing system backups, audits, and re-indexes, and documenting SOPs
  • Experience with Atlassian installations, upgrades, migrations, and environment consolidations
  • Experience integrating Atlassian tools with AWS environments
  • Experience supporting Agile/SAFe delivery environments
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting large federal programs and advising government stakeholders on Atlassian best practices
  • Experience monitoring Atlassian infrastructure hosted on AWS
  • Experience developing documentation, training content, and architecture diagrams for enterprise users
  • Experience with Active Directory administration

Certifications:

  • IAT Level II Certification (Required)
  • One or more Cloud Certifications (Required per LCAT)
