Role OverviewWe are seeking a
Senior .NET Developer to design and deliver high-performance distributed applications within a large-scale logging and metrics ecosystem. This role involves modernizing legacy systems, integrating with mainframe and batch workflows, and building mission-critical software that ensures compliance, interoperability, and supports core business operations. You will contribute to architectural decisions, provide technical leadership, and champion development best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the architecture, design, and development of a unified platform by consolidating multiple legacy systems.
- Reverse engineer and decompile legacy applications where source code is unavailable.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, workflows, and technical solutions.
- Drive solution architecture and oversee implementation of business initiatives.
- Provide technical oversight across applications to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high code quality.
- Analyze complex business and application challenges, evaluate processes, and recommend improvements.
- Participate in planning, backlog management, procedure development, and on-call support.
Required Skills & Experience- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in .NET 6+ / .NET 8, including REST and SOAP service development (Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Frontend development experience with MVVM/SPA frameworks such as Blazor.
- Solid understanding of data exchange formats (JSON, XML, RDF).
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, as well as messaging/queueing systems (MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ).
- Proven track record of technical leadership in .NET/C#/ASP.NET application design, integration, and data-driven architectures.
