Summary

We are seeking a Power BI Reporting Analyst to design, manage, and deliver enterprise reporting solutions by consolidating data from multiple sources, in various formats. This role will be responsible for modernizing SQL-based reporting structures, automating processes in partnership with developers, and presenting executive-ready insights to the C-suite. The ideal candidate combines strong SQL and data integration expertise with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and enhance dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
Extract and consolidate data from multiple ingestion points.
Write SQL queries to integrate structured and semi-structured data.
Present report findings and data-driven insights to executive leadership.
Create and maintain technical documentation for data models, queries, and reporting processes.
Ensure alignment with standardized reporting requirements and governance practices.
Partner with developers to automate reporting workflows and improve overall data efficiency.

Must-Haves

5+ Years of hands-on experience creating, analyzing, and managing reports in Microsoft Power BI.
Professional SQL expertise, including table design, optimization, and modernization.
Adept ability to integrate data from multiple disparate systems and formats.
Proven experience presenting reporting insights to executive leadership.
Ability to document technical processes and reporting logic clearly for technical audiences.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and automation.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience working with Cognos-based reporting environments.
Familiarity with C++-generated data structures or application outputs.
Background in environments transitioning from legacy SQL-based reporting to modern BI platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
