Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electronic Technician to join our maintenance and engineering team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical and electronic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electronics, PLCs, and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and control systems.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Install, configure, and calibrate instrumentation and control devices.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and automation systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a 24/7 operation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
