Required skills, experience, etc.: 3+ years of QA automation experience, hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks, experience with automated functional, regression, and integration testing, familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and ability to work onsite in Delaware. Experience with robotics, embedded systems, or CI/CD tools is a plus.

Job Description
We are looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated testing solutions, execute quality assurance activities, and ensure software applications meet functional, integration, and performance requirements. This position will be a full-time contract and onsite in Newark, DE.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and quality assurance team members to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases
- Execute automated and manual testing cycles and document test results
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot test execution failures
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, story refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and testing procedures
- Monitor and report on test coverage, quality metrics, and overall testing progress
- Support quality assurance best practices and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Work closely with project teams to ensure software releases meet established quality standards
What You'll Need
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Experience developing automated test scripts using common scripting or programming languages
- Experience with defect tracking and test case management tools
- Experience executing functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Delaware as required by the client
Preferred:
- Experience testing robotics, embedded systems, or hardware-integrated software solutions
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines
- Experience with version control systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working within highly collaborative software development environments
