Title: Technical Writer (Archi and ArchiMate)

Job Description
Talent Groups is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and user friendly documentation for technical systems, software, and business processes. This role focuses on translating complex technical concepts into accessible documentation for both technical and business audiences, while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation including system specifications, technical diagrams, FAQs, and knowledge base articles
• Translate complex technical and architectural concepts into clear, well structured written content
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and validate documentation
• Maintain documentation standards, version control, and governance practices
• Update and refine existing technical specifications and system documentation
• Support documentation efforts across IT, infrastructure, and application teams
Required Skills and Experience
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in an IT, software development, or technical environment
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, IT infrastructure, and enterprise systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with documentation and diagramming tools, including Archi for ArchiMate architecture models and technical diagrams
• Ability to read, understand, and update technical specifications
• Experience using Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 to create, manage, and organize structured, version controlled documentation repositories
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to read and understand code
• Prior experience in legal, regulatory, or compliance driven environments
