Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity / Enterprise Security Specialist with a strong focus on firewall technologies. The ideal candidate will have 10 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record of implementing and managing firewall solutions to protect enterprise networks. This role requires a deep understanding of security protocols, risk management, and compliance standards to safeguard our organizations information assets.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage firewall solutions to ensure the security of the organizations network.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
Monitor network traffic and analyze security incidents to respond effectively to threats.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into existing systems and processes.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity best practices and firewall management.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Participate in incident response planning and execution.
Mandatory Skills:
Extensive knowledge and hands on experience with firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
Strong understanding of network security protocols and architectures.
Proficiency in security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
Experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
Ability to analyze and respond to security incidents effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
Experience with cloud security and securing cloud based applications.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Familiarity with endpoint security solutions.
Experience in scripting or automation for security tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
10 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on firewall management.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
