Summary

Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive and electric vehicle industry, is seeking a Trainer - Vehicle Technician to join their team. As a Trainer - Vehicle Technician, you will be part of the Base Operations technical training team supporting internal technicians, maintenance personnel, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a passion for education, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Trainer - Vehicle Technician

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range:$50 -- 51/hr.

What\'s the Job?

    \t
  • Research, analyze, and identify specific training needs to support team objectives \t
  • Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and student handouts tailored to technical content \t
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs covering onboarding, safety, high voltage systems, CAN diagnosis, and autonomous vehicle knowledge \t
  • Conduct classroom and on-the-job training sessions, tracking and reporting completion metrics \t
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure training content aligns with industry standards and safety regulations

What\'s Needed?

    \t
  • 2-5 years of automotive or autonomous vehicle experience preferred \t
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems, including EV-specific components \t
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences \t
  • Foundational instructional design experience for developing training materials \t
  • Valid driver?s license and willingness to manually drive company vehicles as needed
