Job Title: Senior .NET Web Developer-W2 Only

Position Overview
IRG Clients is is seeking a highly motivated senior .NET Web Application Developer to join the Web Application Development Team. This role is central to designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable, secure, data-driven web applications that power Registration, Interview Center, and Eligibility systems for agency programs.
The ideal candidate is an expert in full-stack Microsoft technologies with strong experience building visual interfaces and web services in N-tier architectures, and thrives in collaborative Agile environments delivering high-quality enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and web services using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Translate subsystem and component specifications into efficient technical designs and implementations.
- Develop, document, and implement system components using object-oriented design principles.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with software engineers, technical leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Recommend and implement data interchange formats, APIs, messaging strategies, and infrastructure requirements.
- Participate in integrated test sessions across test and production environments.
- Manage and support technical infrastructure including source control, build management, and testing systems (TFS).
- Mentor junior developers and share technical expertise across teams.
- Communicate system design decisions, trade-offs, and impacts to stakeholders and leadership.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 7+ years of experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale systems using .NET architecture.
- 5+ years of experience building data-driven applications using SQL Server.
- 5+ years developing web-based applications using N-tier architecture, dynamic content, scalable design, and complex security implementations.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Angular and responsive UI frameworks.
- Strong coding expertise in:
- C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC (v3+), .NET Framework
- jQuery, Angular, PrimeNG
- Web services development (WCF)
- Entity Framework 6
- Experience with TFS for source code, build, and release management.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Economic Services Eligibility systems (SNAP/TANF) design and development.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Familiarity with accessibility, security, and performance considerations in government applications.
