The Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our growing Salesforce Platform Team. This is a full-time, hybrid role .

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with Salesforce development, comfortable working across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud (especially Case Management), Data Cloud, and AgentForce, and experienced with integrations and automation. This role offers the opportunity to build enterprise-scale Salesforce capabilities in partnership with product owners, architects, and business teams across Citco.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Development
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Customize and extend Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (with a focus on Case Management) to support business workflows and improve client experience.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with internal systems, Data Cloud, and telephony platforms to enable seamless data flow and client interaction.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code versioning practices.
  • Partner with the Salesforce Architect to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable designs.

Collaboration & Delivery
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure alignment with standards and best practices.
  • Support UAT, release activities, and post-deployment stabilization.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and performance tuning of the Salesforce platform.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and evaluate new features for potential adoption.
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of Citco's Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE), development standards, and platform roadmap.
  • Recommend improvements to development processes and automation strategies.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:
  • 5-8 years of experience in Salesforce development within an enterprise environment.
  • Proven expertise with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex triggers, REST/SOAP APIs, Data Cloud, and system integrations.
  • Experience with telephony integrations (Amazon Connect, Genesys, etc.) and Einstein Analytics is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and CI/CD (Gearset, Copado, or equivalent tools).

Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications (Preferred):
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I / II
  • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant or Service Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Application Architect certification is a plus
