Summary

Job Title: Senior Lead Developer (.NET / React)
Location: Omaha, Nebraska (Hybrid)
Duration: 13 Weeks – Contract to Hire

Work Schedule:

Onsite: Monday & Wednesday (Omaha Office)
Remote: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Note: Candidates located near Omaha, Nebraska are highly preferred.
Candidates residing in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Montana, or Washington will not be considered.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Lead .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. This role requires strong hands-on development experience along with technical leadership. The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams and business stakeholders to build modern applications using .NET and React while supporting system integrations and architecture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET and React
Build and support API integrations and middleware services
Integrate data from on-premise, cloud, and SaaS platforms
Participate in Agile SDLC processes
Lead code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution
Implement secure coding practices and security controls
Develop technical architecture and system design solutions
Create and maintain technical documentation
Support application modernization initiatives
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend solutions
Assist with technology upgrades and technical roadmap planning

Required Experience

8+ years of experience in .NET development
Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET
Hands-on experience with React / ReactJS
Experience building REST APIs and system integrations
Strong understanding of application architecture and system design
Experience working in Agile development environments

Preferred Experience

Experience modernizing legacy technologies such as Perl, Python, or PHP
Experience working in regulated industries (HIPAA, FERPA, PCI, etc.)
Experience with cloud platforms, SaaS integrations, and enterprise systems
