Platform Architect
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)
Employment Type: W2 Only
We are seeking a senior Platform Architect to lead the design and evolution of a cloud-native AI platform. This role will focus on architecture, security, scalability, multi-tenant platform design, and customer-facing technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain enterprise-scale platform architecture
Define multi-tenant Kubernetes, networking, security, and identity strategies
Lead architecture decisions across cloud infrastructure, observability, and platform operations
Design secure integrations with enterprise systems, identity providers, and data services
Partner with engineering teams to drive platform scalability, reliability, and compliance
Support customer technical discussions, solution design, and deployment planning
Required Skills:
Kubernetes platform architecture (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift, or similar)
Cloud-native architecture and multi-cloud environments
Security, Identity & Access Management (OIDC, OAuth, SSO, Secrets Management)
Terraform, GitOps, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code
Networking, API gateways, observability, and distributed systems
Experience with AI/LLM platforms and enterprise integrations is highly preferred
Preferred:
Regulated industry experience (Healthcare, Financial Services, etc.)
Service Mesh, Zero Trust Security, and Compliance Frameworks
Strong customer-facing communication and technical leadership skills
Candidates must be able to work onsite in Austin, TX at least 3 days per week. Local candidates preferred; relocation or self-funded travel is acceptable.
