ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a Project Manager who operates at the intersection of project delivery, data governance, and enterprise oversight. This role is responsible for driving clarity, structure, and execution across initiatives that rely on accurate, consistent, and trusted data.
The Project Manager will lead cross functional efforts involving data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders while ensuring projects align with established governance frameworks. This role plays a critical part in advancing how data is managed, controlled, and leveraged across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead end to end delivery of enterprise projects with significant data driven components
• Implement and mature governance frameworks across data quality, metadata, stewardship, and compliance
• Partner with data engineering, architecture, analytics, and business leaders to enforce data standards
• Track and report project performance using KPIs, governance metrics, and executive dashboards
• Facilitate steering committees, governance councils, and executive decision making forums
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data dependencies, lineage, accuracy, and ownership
• Ensure deliverables comply with governance, security, privacy, and change management controls
• Drive adoption of data enabled delivery and governance best practices across project teams
KEY REQUIREMENTS
• 7 plus years of project management experience supporting enterprise scale initiatives
• Strong background in data governance, data quality management, or metadata frameworks
• Experience delivering data centric initiatives including analytics, MDM, data platforms, or cloud solutions
• Hands on experience with PMO governance models including stage gates, risk logs, and compliance checkpoints
• Solid understanding of data architecture concepts such as lineage, cataloging, sourcing, and integrations
• Advanced experience with project tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• PMP or similar project delivery certification preferred
• Executive level communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data topics
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and align cross functional teams
