Primary Skills:
Snowflake, Coalesce, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, Python, DBT
Required Skills / Experience:
- Strong SQL skills with experience in complex SQL workloads.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, warehouse optimization, query performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Coalesce for scalable Snowflake data models, automation, and metadata-driven development.
- Strong experience developing and managing Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and Snowflake integration.
- Experience with DBT, including advanced features such as macros, packages, and custom materializations.
- Strong Python experience.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable data models and data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data profiling, including primary/unique keys, cardinality, data types, precision, scale, and data skew.
- Experience identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in Snowflake queries and DBT models.
- Experience optimizing Snowflake warehouse configurations and query performance.
- Experience designing data quality frameworks and testing strategies.
- Experience creating reusable DBT packages and macros.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines for DBT deployments.
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Healthcare application/data experience is preferred.
