Job DetailsWhat You'll Do:
- Lead new product launches using APQP methodology from validation through full production lifecycle
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including scrap reduction, CPK/SPC analysis, process mapping, and flow optimization
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure proper equipment selection, validation, and implementation for new and existing programs
- Implement product specification revisions and support engineering changes
- Maintain strong quality controls and ensure adherence to established procedures
- Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques (8D, 5-Why, Root Cause Analysis) to resolve manufacturing challenges
- Contribute to a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 4-6 years of experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing
- Strong understanding of:
- APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans
- IATF / TS quality standards
- Process capability analysis and data-driven decision making
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Stable and consistent work history in manufacturing environments
- Willingness to travel as needed to support plant or customer initiatives
Work Environment:
- This role is based in an advanced automotive manufacturing setting and involves hands-on collaboration on the production floor. You'll work closely with operations, quality, and engineering teams to improve performance and drive measurable results.
- Physical activity may include standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Some travel may be required.
