Job Title: Sr. IT Project Coordinator

Duration: 12 + Months (Contract to Hire)

Location: Kalamazoo, MI (100% Remote)

Summary:

The IT Project Coordinator supports delivery execution for Client s bespoke Commercial Genetics ERP solution by coordinating planning, agile ceremonies, and delivery hygiene across stakeholders.
Experience working in agile environments supporting IT delivery (coordination, backlog support, and/or project coordination).
The role maintains delivery cadence by managing schedules, facilitating communication, and ensuring clear documentation of decisions, actions, and deliverables.
The position supports backlog quality by grooming and organizing work in Jira, consolidating duplicates, and ensuring items are associated to the correct Stories and Epics for prioritization review.
The role partners with product and delivery leadership to ensure work items are written with sufficient clarity (e.g., reproducible steps for bugs and clear today vs. tomorrow narratives for enhancements).
The coordinator also supports operational execution including budget/invoice/PO support, vendor coordination, release/change coordination, and UAT coordination. Success requires strong attention to detail, comfort working in agile environments, and effective collaboration using Jira and Confluence.
Backlog grooming and work-item hygiene; strong documentation and follow-up discipline.

Preferred: Experience with release/change coordination and UAT coordination; familiarity with procurement processes (invoices/POs) and vendor coordination.
