AI Engineer

Location: Irving, TX
Salary: $130,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a AI Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Develop end-to-end AI workflows and automation pipelines

Perform prompt engineering and optimize LLM interactions

Build, deploy, and maintain AI/ML models across all environments, including production

Develop and maintain Python-based APIs using FastAPI/Flask

Conduct code reviews, write test cases, and maintain documentation

Continuously learn and stay updated on advancements in Generative AI

Must Have / Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Python

Hands-on API development using FastAPI or Flask

Experience with data processing and AI-enabled workflows in Python

Understanding of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG architecture, Agentic AI

Basic understanding of hybrid prompting

Experience using Generative AI tools/frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face, LlamaIndex

Good to Have:

Experience working with Gemini LLM

Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras

Hands-on NLP experience

Knowledge of model deployment & containerization (Docker)

Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

Awareness of AI compliance, data privacy, and Responsible AI practices
