SAP OTC Consultant with Data Migration Experience

Location: Parsippany, New Jersey

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Functional Consultant OTC with strong expertise in Order to Cash business processes and SAP data migration. The role involves leading SAP implementations and rollouts, ensuring seamless OTC operations, accurate data conversion, and successful integration with finance and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

SAP OTC Functional Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Order to Cash (OTC)processes including:

o Customer Master Data

o Sales Order Management

o Pricing and Billing

o Delivery and Shipping

o Credit Management

o Returns and Rebates

o Revenue Recognition (where applicable)

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and convert them into SAP functional designs.
  • Configure and customize SAP SDmodule components such as pricing procedures, output determination, copy controls, and billing processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration with SAP FI (AR, Revenue), MM, and WM/EWM.
  • Support end-to-end OTC process testing (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to sales, billing, and customer processes.
  • Support month-end and period-end closing activities related to OTC and revenue.

Data Migration Responsibilities

  • Lead or support data migration activitiesfor OTC-related data, including:

o Customer master data

o Pricing conditions

o Open sales orders

o Open deliveries and billing documents

o Open AR balances (in coordination with FI team)

  • Define data migration scope, strategy, and validation rules.
  • Perform data mapping from legacy systems to SAP SD structures.
  • Work with technical teams using LSMW, LTMC, Migration Cockpit, or ETL tools.
  • Execute data validation, reconciliation, and sign-off with business stakeholders.
  • Support mock conversions, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
  • Document data migration processes and reconciliation results.

Project & Stakeholder Responsibilities

  • Act as a key liaison between business users, technical teams, and project management.
  • Provide functional leadership and mentor junior consultants.
  • Prepare functional specifications, process flows, and training materials.
  • Support user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Coordinate with global teams for rollouts and enhancements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as an SAP SD / OTC Functional Consultant.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA OTCprocesses.
  • Proven experience in SAP data migration for OTC/SD objects.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end OTC lifecycle and integration points.
  • Experience working on SAP implementation, rollout, or transformation projects.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with S/4HANA SD and Advanced ATP (aATP).
  • Exposure to Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
  • Knowledge of SAP Credit Management (FSCM).
  • Experience with global or multi-country implementations.
  • SAP SD or S/4HANA certification.

Soft Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
