Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with extensive experience in the Databricks and Spark ecosystems to drive high-impact AI/ML initiatives. This role requires a technical leader who can architect scalable data processing solutions using PySpark and Scala, build predictive models with Spark ML, and implement robust MLOps pipelines. You will lead the integration of Generative AI and cloud-native machine learning services across AWS, ensuring that data-driven insights are converted into strategic business outcomes for Toyota.
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:
Scalable Data Engineering & Spark
Advanced Data Processing: Design and implement high-performance analytics solutions using Spark SQL, PySpark, and Spark Scala.
Lakehouse Optimization: Utilize Databricks Delta Lake and Databricks SQL to ensure reliable, performant data storage and retrieval for large-scale Modeling.
Workflow Automation: Develop and manage Databricks Workflows to streamline complex data processing pipelines and improve operational uptime.
Machine Learning & AI Innovation
Model Development: Lead the creation of scalable machine learning models utilizing Spark ML to provide deep predictive insights.
Generative AI: Apply GenAI techniques to solve complex business challenges and drive technological innovation within the organization.
Cloud AI Services: Implement and scale AI applications using AWS Machine Learning and explore multi-cloud capabilities across Google Cloud Platform and Azure.
MLOps & Operational Excellence
Reliability & Scalability: Optimize MLOps frameworks to ensure the continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of production-grade models.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate model accuracy and effectiveness, providing actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders based on rigorous data analysis.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Provide technical mentorship and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI concepts into existing enterprise workflows.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration.
