Engagement Model: Client-facing role working closely with client stakeholders, product leadership, and global delivery teams

Role Overview

We are seeking a client-facing consulting professional with strong experience in the lending domain, Agile/product-led delivery, and large-scale transformation programs.

The role operates at the intersection of business consulting, product thinking, and technology execution, with accountability for shaping requirements, influencing solution direction, and driving outcomes across advisory and implementation engagements.

This role is well-suited for professionals who can lead client conversations, partner with product and engineering teams, and orchestrate onshore–offshore delivery models to deliver measurable business impact.


Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Consulting Leadership (Onshore)

  • Lead and contribute to consulting-led advisory engagements, including:
    • Current-state assessments
    • Target-state and capability definition
    • Lending transformation roadmaps and business cases
  • Engage directly with client stakeholders (Product, Business, Technology, Operations) to:
    • Frame problem statements and objectives
    • Define solution options and trade-offs
    • Align on value-driven recommendations
  • Lead or co-lead client workshops, interviews, and working sessions to convert insights into actionable outcomes
  • Define and validate business outcomes, KPIs, and success metrics for lending initiatives

Product Management & Agile Delivery Leadership

  • Operate within Agile and product-centric delivery models (Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid)
  • Partner closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Engineering Leads to:
    • Translate business objectives into epics, features, and user stories
    • Shape and prioritize product backlogs aligned to business value
    • Maintain alignment between product vision, roadmap, and sprint execution
  • Participate in and guide Agile ceremonies:
    • Backlog refinement
    • Sprint planning
    • Reviews and retrospectives
  • Ensure consulting outputs are translated into clear, executable product and delivery artifacts

Techno-Functional Delivery & Solution Assurance

  • Act as a bridge between business, product, and technology teams, preserving functional intent through design and build
  • Validate solution designs, configurations, and functional fit during implementation
  • Partner with architects, developers, and QA teams across:
    • Design walkthroughs
    • Sprint execution
    • UAT planning and defect triage
  • Identify requirement gaps, risks, and dependencies early, driving resolution with client and delivery leadership

Global Delivery & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and coordinate work in an onshore–offshore delivery model, ensuring clarity of scope, priorities, and expectations
  • Provide structured guidance, feedback, and decision support to offshore teams
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for both client stakeholders and internal leadership
  • Mentor and guide consultants and analysts across locations, reinforcing strong consulting, Agile, and product discipline

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in the lending domain (consumer, auto, commercial, or mortgage lending)
  • Proven experience in client-facing consulting roles supporting transformation programs
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Agile delivery models
    • Product backlogs, epics, user stories, and Agile artifacts
  • Demonstrated techno-functional capability, comfortable engaging with both business and engineering stakeholders
  • Experience operating in global delivery models with distributed teams
  • Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation, and analytical skills

Preferred Experience

  • Lending platform modernization (COTS or custom platforms)
  • Digital lending, workflow automation, analytics, or AI-enabled decisioning initiatives
  • Experience with Salesforce, LOS platforms, or enterprise lending solutions (optional)
  • Exposure to scaled Agile environments and large BFSI transformation programs
  • Prior experience working with senior client stakeholders in regulated environments
