Job Description

Role Summary

The Oracle SOA E2 Administrator will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of Oracle SOA Suite (E2) environments. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, security, and stability of SOA middleware platforms supporting enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle SOA Suite E2 environments
Manage Oracle WebLogic Server domains supporting SOA components
Perform environment setup across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production
Monitor SOA composites, BPEL processes, Mediator services, and adapters
Perform deployment, start/stop, and troubleshooting of SOA services
Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
Apply patches, PSU, bundle patches, and upgrades for SOA & WebLogic
Monitor system health, JVM performance, threads, memory, and logs
Manage security, certificates, users, roles, and access controls
Support high availability, DR setups, and failover testing
Coordinate with application, integration, and infrastructure teams
Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation
Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance windows

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of IT experience with strong Oracle Middleware Administration
5+ years hands-on experience as Oracle SOA Suite Administrator (E2)
Strong expertise in:
- Oracle SOA Suite (E2)
- Oracle WebLogic Server
- BPEL, Mediator, OSB (admin-level)
Experience with:
- Linux/Unix environments
- JVM tuning & performance monitoring
- Log analysis & troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of:
- Patching & upgrades
- Security & SSL certificates
- HA & DR configurations
Experience supporting production environments

Nice to Have / Preferred

Experience in BFS / Insurance / Enterprise environments
Exposure to Oracle Service Bus (OSB)
Experience with monitoring tools (OEM, Splunk, etc.)
ITIL / Production Support experience
