Job Summary: The Sr. Electrical Engineer serves to focus on the design of electrical systems for new facilities, additions, and renovation projects. This will require providing technical leadership for the creation of construction drawings and specifications, and existing system condition studies. Qualified candidates will meet with clients, project teams, code officials, contractors, and others to address electrical issues and develop effective working relationships. The project clientele includes higher education, commercial, hospitality, municipal, and institutional facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Layout and design of electrical distribution
  • Lighting design and lighting controls
  • Experience in designing systems in accordance with the NEC and IECC
  • Experience designing projects from conceptual design to completion
  • Understanding of Mechanical and Plumbing Systems design is a plus

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in the design of electrical systems for various types of facilities
  • Professional Engineer, required
  • Ability to perform basic electrical engineering calculations
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership ability and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Self-starter that requires little direction to get moving on a project

Location: Orlando, FL

Travel: 10%
