Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced o9 IBP Functional Consultant to lead business-process discovery, functional design, and adoption of Integrated Business Planning solutions. The role connects business stakeholders with o9 configuration and technical teams, translating planning requirements into scalable solution designs.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead discovery workshops to understand planning processes, pain points, decision rights, and business outcomes.

·         Design end-to-end IBP processes across demand, supply, inventory, capacity, scenario planning, and executive S&OP.

·         Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and configuration guidance.

·         Define planning hierarchies, measures, assumptions, workflows, alerts, dashboards, and scenario-management requirements.

·         Partner with configuration consultants, solution architects, data teams, and integration teams to maintain design traceability.

·         Guide solution walkthroughs, design validation, conference-room pilots, UAT, and readiness assessments.

·         Lead fit-gap analysis and recommend standard platform capabilities before customization.

·         Support data validation by defining business rules, reconciliation criteria, and acceptance thresholds.

·         Align Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Technology stakeholders.

·         Prepare functional documentation, training materials, operating procedures, and adoption plans; support cutover and hypercare.

Required Qualifications

·         9+ years in Supply Chain Planning, S&OP/IBP, consulting, or enterprise planning transformation.

·         At least 3 years of hands-on experience with o9 Solutions; o9 experience is mandatory.

·         Strong functional knowledge of demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and S&OP/IBP.

·         Experience creating functional designs, user stories, process maps, test scenarios, and business requirement documents.

·         Ability to facilitate senior stakeholder workshops and translate business needs into implementable requirements.

·         Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience in CPG/FMCG, retail, manufacturing, life sciences, or another planning-intensive industry.

·         Exposure to SAP IBP/APO, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder/JDA, Oracle SCM, or related platforms.

·         o9 certification; global-template or multi-country implementation experience.

·         Understanding of master data, transactional data, ERP integration, reporting, and planning analytics.
