Senior In-Building RF/DAS Engineer | Contract | Multiple Locations within USA
We are hiring a Senior In-Building RF/DAS Engineer for a contract opportunity based in Irving, TX with a hybrid work schedule. This position will support a national In-Building Strategy & PMO organization responsible for complex in-building and venue DAS deployments across LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi, and multi-operator networks. The engineer will review and approve RF/DAS designs, analyze network performance, develop design strategies, and coordinate large-scale technical programs across regional engineering teams and external vendors.
This is a great opportunity for a senior RF professional who wants to move beyond individual market design and work on national-level in-building strategy and standards. The role combines advanced RF engineering with technical project management, giving you the opportunity to influence DAS design strategy across major venues and enterprise buildings, work with leading RAN and DAS OEM technologies, and support the commercialization and rollout of new cellular, Wi-Fi, and MoCN solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of In-Building RF design and optimization experience
3+ years of technical project/program management experience
Strong experience designing and reviewing DAS systems for enterprise buildings and large venues
Strong LTE and 5G NR RF design experience
iBwave Level 3 certification; recently expired certification may be considered
Experience reviewing and approving in-building RF/DAS designs against established engineering standards
Strong understanding of RF coverage, capacity, antenna selection, and radio solutions
Experience analyzing network performance and RF KPIs to identify coverage/capacity issues and recommend design improvements
Familiarity with Ericsson and Samsung RAN equipment
Experience working with DAS OEMs and external engineering vendors
Strong technical project management experience supporting complex, multi-site deployments
Ability to develop and present technical analysis, recommendations, and program updates to engineering and senior management teams
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Desired Skills & Experience
Advanced Atoll experience, including RF prediction models
Experience with Wi-Fi offload for venues and enterprise buildings
Experience with MoCN and multi-operator network solutions
Experience with network performance tools such as VPT and xLPT
Strong data analysis, automated reporting, and data-processing skills
Experience developing RF design standards, engineering guidelines, and strategy documentation
Experience supporting budgeting and capital/operational efficiency initiatives
Experience with generative AI and automation tools to improve engineering workflows
Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline
