Job Details

We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager to take full ownership of the project lifecycle, from initial contract development through final closeout. This is a high-impact role where you will serve as the principal point of contact for owners, engineers, and subcontractors, navigating the intricate complexities of large-scale construction. You will be responsible for the financial and schedule performance of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring every phase, from the shop floor to the field, is executed with precision. This position requires a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable troubleshooting technical issues with city officials as they are managing high-level change order negotiations. If you are a self-motivated leader with a competitive spirit and a desire for career growth in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, this is the place for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the complete project lifecycle, maintaining full accountability for financial performance, budgeting, and strict adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal engineering, fabrication, and construction teams to ensure seamless information flow and operational execution.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks and scheduling deficiencies through proactive negotiation and expert change order management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex project issues by coordinating directly with consulting engineers, inspectors, and government officials.
  • Manage project-specific financial tasks, including providing accurate monthly billing amounts for each project phase and documenting general expenses.
  • Conduct regular site visits and lead pre-construction meetings to verify site conditions, finalize schedules, and maintain a strong professional presence on-site.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably in heavy industrial or steel construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field. (Preferred)
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret intricate project plans, specifications, and construction materials/methods.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 35-40% of the time, including airline travel and driving to various project sites.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and valid identification for domestic travel.
