Summary

Civil CAD Designer
Contract to Hire
M-F onsite - in office.
Contract to hire after 6 months
$27.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience

Description:

Focusing on civil alignment sheets, erosion and sediment control plans, and site civil layout plans for oil and gas pipelines
Support civil engineers and CADD staff on AutoCAD Civil 3D
Develop skills in performing site civil design as well as 3D piping design
Perform calculations for erosion and sediment control
Assist engineers with quantity take-offs for the bill of materials
Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Design, or a combination of education and relevant experience
Pipeline and site civil design and drafting experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Understanding of Civil Survey data
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Understanding of document and data management
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate within a large project execution team.
