We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Permanent Quality Engineer for our manufacturing team. This exciting role offers an opportunity to play a critical part in ensuring the overall quality of our products, improving our processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, with a particular focus on process improvement, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Analysis, and ISO13485. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Utilize Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other best practices to reduce waste, improve productivity, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and address sources of quality issues.
- Use statistical analysis to monitor and control process variability and product quality.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems in compliance with ISO13485.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into all manufacturing processes.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality plans, quality control plans, and quality assurance procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members on quality control and process improvement techniques.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting performance metrics, quality issues, and proposed solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role in the manufacturing industry.
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and the use of statistical software.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO13485 and experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems in compliance with this standard.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high-quality results.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality engineering and manufacturing.
