Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful sof tware development, and that means rigorous testing. That's why we need a knowledgeable test engineer like you who knows how to thoroughly test sof tware and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best sof tware possible.

As a Sof tware Test Engineer on our team, you'll collaborate with developers, requirements analysts, and government stakeholders to validate sof tware for your client. You'll create test strategies and detailed procedures, t race requirements to verification met hods, and execute tests that span functional, integration, regression, performance, and mission- relevant evaluation. You'll track and report bugs, verify fixes, and help guide improvements throughout the development lifecycle.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience performing sof tware testing, systems validation, or verification activities
• Experience with Jira
• Experience analyzing and comprehending sof tware requirements, and defining test met hods
• Experience developing test plans, test cases, and detailed test procedures
• Experience conducting functional, integration, regression, or performance testing
• Experience in communicating findings to development teams
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and government test organizations
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with SQL scripting
• Experience with human resources IT systems
• Experience with automation and API tools such as Selenium, JUnit, Postman, or Cypress
• Experience with Agile frameworks and Continuous Integration or Continuous Deployment ( CI / CD ) pipelines

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
