Job Details

Our East Coast based client is seeking a fully remote Consulting QA / Test Engineer with E-commerce platform experience, preferably Magento / Adobe Commerce Cloud. The Consulting QA / Test Engineer will work independently and be responsible for, and not limited to: Manual and Automated testing of E-Commerce features, enhancements, and bug fixes; validating front end functionality across browsers and devices; testing UI behavior / interactions with Alpine.js; validating layouts and styling responsiveness implemented with Tailwind CSS; verifying E-Commerce workflows (catalog browsing, search, cart, checkout, customer accounts, promotions); verifying Admin Workflows (product, pricing, promotions, orders, inventory, customer management, and system configuration); identifying, documenting, and tracking defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and logs; testing API Integrations (REST / SOAP / GraphQL); E-Commerce Storefront workflows (checkout, payment processing, shipping, taxes, etc.); testing integrations with ERP, CRM, WMS, Payment Gateways, and Customer Experience Platforms; executing Performance / Load testing.

To be considered for this project, you must have:

  • Manual and Automated testing of E-Commerce features, enhancements, and bug fixes; validate front-end functionality across browsers and devices
  • Experience with testing API Integrations (REST / SOAP / GraphQL),
  • Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, etc.
  • Ability to test UI behavior / interactions with Alpine.js; validate layouts and styling responsiveness implemented with Tailwind CSS; verify E-Commerce workflows (catalog browsing, search, cart, checkout, customer accounts, promotions)
  • Experience testing integrations with ERP, CRM, WMS, Payment Gateways, and Customer Experience Platforms
  • Working knowledge of GIT and other collaborative development tools
  • Ability to effectively write queries in SQL to validate data
  • Experience verifying Admin Workflows (product, pricing, promotions, orders, inventory, customer management, and system configuration); identifying, documenting, and tracking defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and logs
  • Strong verbal and written communication (focus on documentation) and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with cross functional teams as well as independently as an individual contributor

Nice to have:

  • Experience developing QA Plan (Requirements Analysis, Test Planning, Test Case Development, Environment Setup, Test Execution, Test Cycle Closure)
  • Experience with Automated testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum software development
  • Experience with Magento Commerce Cloud
