Summary

Role: Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)

Experience: 10+ years

Summary:
Senior Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Django, Spark, and Google Cloud to build scalable, cloud-native data and backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain backend apps using Python & Django on Google Cloud Platform
Develop and optimize Spark/PySpark data pipelines
Design end-to-end solutions using Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, GKE, Pub/Sub, etc.)
Develop REST APIs and microservices
Implement CI/CD and IaC (Terraform)
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production workloads
Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Skills:

10+ years in software/cloud engineering
Strong Google Cloud Platform experience
Advanced Python & Django
Spark / PySpark expertise
BigQuery & SQL optimization
Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Linux
CI/CD, version control, testing
Strong communication & problem-solving skills
