Position Title: Business Analyst Hardware Asset Management (HAM)

Job Description:
Looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support Hardware Asset Management operations. This role focuses on tracking asset data, analyzing trends, and providing accurate reporting through spreadsheets and ServiceNow. The ideal candidate is strong in data handling, organized, and comfortable working with ticketing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and track hardware asset data across inventory and lifecycle stages (procure, deploy, retire)
Analyze asset data using spreadsheets (Excel) to identify trends, gaps, and inconsistencies
Generate regular status reports on asset inventory, utilization, and requests
Upload, update, and manage data in ServiceNow ticketing and asset management modules
Support asset request tracking, status updates, and reporting via ServiceNow workflows
Ensure data accuracy and completeness across systems and reports
Collaborate with IT, procurement, and operations teams to validate asset information
Assist in preparing dashboards and reports for stakeholders
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in Excel / spreadsheet analysis (pivot tables, data cleanup, reporting)
Basic understanding of Hardware Asset Management or IT Asset Management concepts
Experience working with ServiceNow (or similar ticketing systems)
Good attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to manage and organize large datasets
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ITAM/HAM processes or tools
Exposure to reporting dashboards and data visualization
Understanding of asset lifecycle tracking and inventory systems
