Summary
We are seeking experienced Windows 11 Desktop Migration Technicians to join an onsite deployment team supporting a large law firm environment. This project involves upgrading and deploying Windows 11 workstations, providing white-glove end-user support, and ensuring a smooth migration experience for attorneys and legal staff.
This is an evening shift position requiring professionalism, strong customer service skills, and prior hands-on desktop deployment experience in enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform Windows 11 desktop/laptop migrations and deployments
- Replace and configure PCs, laptops, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals
- Transfer user data, profiles, and settings
- Install and configure enterprise applications and legal software
- Provide onsite support to attorneys and staff during and after migrations
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and login issues
- Document completed work, asset tracking, and deployment status
- Follow established migration procedures and escalation processes
- Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced legal environment
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of desktop support, deployment, or migration experience
- Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 deployments and upgrades
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory
- Experience with PC imaging and deployment tools
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience supporting executive-level or professional users preferred
- Ability to work onsite during evening hours consistently
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior law firm or professional services environment experience
- Experience with SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, or similar deployment tools
- Knowledge of VPN, printers, and remote access support
- A+ certification or equivalent technical experience

- 100% onsite role
- Evening shift schedule: 4:30 PM – 9:30/10:00 PM
- Contract runs through the end of the year with potential extension
