Job Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join an Enterprise Integration Platform team. This role focuses on building secure, scalable REST APIs and Java-based microservices in a cloud-native environment using Microsoft Azure.
• The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Apigee Hybrid (API Gateway / Management Platform), Azure DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines, and Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to digital banking and enterprise integration initiatives while working with modern API platforms and AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot)
• Build and manage API proxies using Apigee Hybrid (API Gateway)
• Develop and deploy microservices in Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Implement secure API practices (OAuth2, JWT, API key validation, rate limiting)
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
• Support cloud migration and legacy system modernization initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Follow enterprise API standards, governance, and best practices
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs
• Experience with Apigee (Hybrid preferred) or similar API management platforms
• Solid experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Strong understanding of API security (OAuth2, JWT, authentication mechanisms)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
