Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer Manager to lead and oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise IT infrastructure and systems engineering operations. The ideal candidate will manage technical teams, drive infrastructure initiatives, ensure system reliability and security, and align technology solutions with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the systems engineering team responsible for enterprise infrastructure and operations.
• Plan, design, implement, and support:
  • Server infrastructure
  • Cloud environments
  • Virtualization platforms
  • Storage and backup systems
  • Enterprise applications
• Oversee system performance, monitoring, availability, and capacity planning.
• Manage infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, DevOps, and application teams to support business operations.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and support contracts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff through coaching and performance management.
• Participate in budgeting, resource planning, and strategic IT planning activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of:
  • Windows and Linux server administration
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
  • Networking and storage concepts
  • Identity and access management
• Experience with:
  • Infrastructure monitoring and automation tools
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • IT service management and operational support
  • System security and compliance best practices
• Leadership experience managing technical teams and infrastructure projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Information Technology
  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Related field
• Relevant certifications preferred:
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator / Azure Solutions Architect
  • Amazon Web Services AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • VMware VCP Certification
  • ITIL ITIL Foundation
• Experience with automation or scripting tools such as:
  • PowerShell
  • Python
  • Bash

Nice to Have

• Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
• Exposure to hybrid cloud and enterprise modernization initiatives
