Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Project Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced environment in the construction industry where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects. You will be coordinating with various teams, managing manpower, ensuring the project is on schedule, and liaising with subcontractors. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency that our company is known for.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that all activities are carried out according to plan.
2. Preparing and delivering 4-week lookaheads to manage project expectations and ensure smooth operations.
3. Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
4. Managing and coordinating subcontractors effectively to ensure their tasks are completed to our standard and on time.
5. Leading and managing crews, ensuring that they are well-coordinated and working efficiently.
6. Allocating manpower strategically to various tasks and projects, ensuring optimal productivity.
7. Ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
8. Collaborating with various departments and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
9. Identifying potential issues or delays in the project and finding effective solutions.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing crews, subcontractor management, scheduling, and manpower allocation.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. A strong commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
9. Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
10. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
