You will deliver solutions by diving deep into mature and newer architectures alike, whilst thinking and collaborating broadly across the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure teams. You uncover issues in established systems and innovate from within. You are the go-to consultant within the organization for senior engineers and the first point of contact for architectural leadership from partners.

ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do
- Lead engineering projects to evaluate cutting-edge emerging AI/ML models and algorithms with the goal of leveraging the models/algorithms internally and determining implications of emerging technologies on AI Infrastructure roadmap.
- Establish performance benchmarks for AI Infrastructure
- Launch and drive joint innovation pilots with key customers and partners.
What you'll bring
- 15+ years' experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems.
You should have experience developing AI infrastructure and operating high-scale services, and an understanding of how to make these cloud-scale services resilient. - Hands on software development experience with AI/ML libraries and framework such as PyTorch optimization, CUDA optimization, NCCL, RCCL, vLLM,
- Experiences authoring PyTorch/CUDA libraries.
- Experience with AI/ML workload scaling and performance analysis & optimization a plus.
- Experience in AI accelerators and AI related network hardware a plus
- GenAI algorithms & scheduling to leverage large clusters - data parallelism, tensor parallelism
- Experience with AI/ML workload scaling and performance analysis & optimization.
- Solid knowledge of AI / GPU platform architecture and their capabilities.
- Experience working on large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure.
- Experience in AI accelerators and AI related network hardware a plus
- Conduct comprehensive benchmarking and performance analysis of AI accelerators from emerging hardware vendors (e.g., SambaNova, Groq).
- Compare and contrast new AI accelerators with industry-standard hardware (e.g., NVIDIA GPUs) for training and inference workloads.
Education
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
