Position Overview

We are currently hiring multiple professionals across technical and functional roles to support ongoing initiatives with the State of New York. These positions require candidates with prior State/Government project experience and a strong understanding of working within public sector environments.

Mandatory Requirements (ALL ROLES)

• Must have prior experience working on State or Government projects (New York State experience highly preferred)
• Candidates must be local to New York State
• Strong understanding of government processes, compliance, and documentation standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in onsite or hybrid environments as required

Open Roles & Key Responsibilities

1. .NET Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET technologies
• Work with ASP.NET, C#, Web APIs, and SQL Server
• Participate in full SDLC including design, development, testing, and deployment
• Ensure compliance with State IT standards and security guidelines

Preferred Skills:

• .NET Core / MVC
• Azure or cloud exposure
• Experience with State systems or legacy modernization

2. Java Developer

• Develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integrations
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning
• Ensure adherence to State architecture and security standards

Preferred Skills:

• Microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Government project experience

3. Network Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure network security and compliance with State policies
• Support upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning

Preferred Skills:

• Cisco/Juniper networking
• Firewall & security tools
• Experience supporting government IT environments

4. Business Analyst

• Gather and document business and system requirements
• Work closely with stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams
• Create BRDs, FRDs, and process flows
• Support UAT, compliance documentation, and reporting

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with State agencies
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Strong documentation and analytical skills

Additional Information

• Candidates must be able to provide proof of State project experience
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior New York State agency experience
