Summary

Title: QE Security Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: Long Term Contract

Work Mode: Hybrid (4 Day Onsite):

Must Have: Application security testing; SAST/DAST (Veracode/Burp Suite); vulnerability validation; secure SDLC.

Job Description:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for enterprise applications.
Create and execute automated test scripts for both UI and API testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.
Maintain and enhance automation script libraries, reusable components, and testing standards across projects.
Perform application security testing to identify, assess, and validate security vulnerabilities.
Utilize SAST and DAST tools such as Veracode and Burp Suite to conduct security assessments and code reviews.
Validate and verify remediation of identified vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with security requirements.
Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to implement secure coding practices throughout the Secure SDLC.
Analyze test results, security findings, and provide actionable recommendations to improve application security and performance.
Support compliance, audit, and security initiatives while adhering to organizational and regulatory standards.
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field required.
Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS clearance.
Security certifications such as Security+ or CEH are preferred.
Experience with application security testing, SAST/DAST tools, vulnerability validation, and Secure SDLC practices is required.
