Position: Applied Engineer
Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $100 $150/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided):
- Design and oversee evaluations for a wide range of coding tasks, such as migrating repositories from JavaScript to TypeScript.
- Treat these evaluations as test cases to measure the AI system s performance over time.
- Analyze real-world user cases to understand strengths and weaknesses in the AI s coding ability.
- Present evaluation insights directly to the research team to guide improvements in the AI software engineering agent.
Requirements:
- Experience in full-stack engineering (React, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hard-working, detail-oriented, and precise approach to your work.
- Actively seeking a long-term opportunity.
- Based in the United States or Canada.
- Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported).
