General Summary:

About the Role

Microarchitecture and logic design development of Qualcomm's state of the art AI/ML processors used in a wide range of applications. As part of the AI/ML processor logic design team, work on providing quick feedback on PPA feasibility of design features.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with architects, micro-architects and logic designers, and provide feedback on power, timing, and area.
• Perform logic synthesis, early static timing analysis and early power analysis for the designs before the full implementation cycle.
• Evaluate all aspects of the design process from instruction set architecture to implementation.
• Use system tools such as digital design simulator, design synthesis engine, power estimation engine, etc.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tools and flows

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl and Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog and RTL design concepts.
• Experience with Git and other revision control systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$127,200.00 - $190,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
